• The Troyan Monastery, in the village of Oreshak, located 10 km from the town of Troyan

• The National Exhibition of applied arts and folk crafts in the village of Oreshak

• The Natural Science Museum in the village of Cherni Osam.
  The exposition in the attraction hall shows representatives of the animal world in the region. The visitors may hear authentic records of the birds’ songs, bear’s roar, and wolf’s wail. The fist hall presents in photos the natural landmarks in the region.
  The aim of the museum is to represent the fauna of Central Stara Planina.Iin just one hour you may see there more animals than you can hardly see in nature for ten years.

• The Roman fortress Sostra in the village of Lomets at 12 km from the town of Troyan.
  The most valuable finding in the excavations near Sostra fortress is a Trachian mask of V- IV century BC. 

A walk to Vidimsko Praskalo Waterfall
This is an exceptionally beautiful waterfall of 80-meter height. It is located in the central Northern part of Stara Planina, in Severen Djendem Reserve. Specially-built eco-paths lead to the waterfall.

A walk to Sueva Dupka Cave, which is located some 50 km from the town of Troyan.
